Riggs White, 49, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008.Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Robert Riggs White was born July 8, 1958, in Fort Worth to James Milton White and Elizabeth Riggs. Robert was an employee of the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Haltom High School. Robert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and buckskinning. Robert loved being with his family and friends. He and his brother, along with his best friend, founded a popular trout tournament that had endured for 28 years. Survivors: Wife, Lori White of Haltom City; daughter, Ashton White of Little Rock, Ark.; father, Jim White of Clyde; mother, Elizabeth White of Haltom City; stepmother, Vera White of Clyde; brother, Jimbo White Jr. of Haltom City; stepchildren, Staff Sgt. Adam Bryan of Killeen, Rachel Bryan of Haltom City; grandson, Michael Cayden Riggs Schales of Little Rock, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
