Gary W. Scheler, 52, a retired conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at his country home.

Graveside service: 9 a.m. Saturday in Prairie Springs Cemetery, Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Gary W. Scheler was preceded in death by his parents, Hilbert and Regina Scheler.

Survivors: Wife, Linda Scheler; sons, Derek Scheler and Jared Scheler; stepchildren, Crystal Bullard and Michael Bullard; stepgranddaughter, Savannah Bullard; sisters, Teresa Paslay and husband, Clay, and Laura Penton and husband, C.W.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Adela and Harris Ryals; and numerous nieces and nephews.
